How to Install the EP160 and EP200 with Your Mount

M6 mounting (3-screw fixing) on the quick mounting plate

For most strain-wave equatorial mounts, the mount can be secured directly to the Quick Mounting Plate using three M6 screws, providing excellent rigidity and secure connection. This mounting method provides maximum stability for lightweight harmonic mounts.

Caution: Screw Depth Advisory for Specific Mounts: When using this method, pay attention to the maximum screw engagement depth required by certain mounts. For example, with Proxisky mounts, the screw engagement depth must be less than 8 mm. Please consult the mount manufacturer for detailed specifications.

3/8" center bolt mounting

For most other equatorial mounts, the mount can be secured to the Quick Mounting Plate and the tripod using the 3/8"-16 threaded stud of the Dual-Purpose Center Bolt.
